Clinical significance of test
Glycosylated haemoglobin (HbA1c) is the combination of haemoglobin and glucose in red blood cells, which mainly reflects the average blood glucose level of patients in recent 2-3 months. A haemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) test measures the amount of blood sugar (glucose) attached to haemoglobin.
