CK-MB Test Kit

BackDuration: 10 minutes

A cardiac biomarker, elevated early during myocardial injury/infarction

Clinical significance of test

CK-MB: a form of creatine kinase isoenzyme, which mainly exists in the myocardium. It is one of the important markers of myocardial injury and can effectively diagnose acute myocardial infarction.

Steps of operation

Clinical application

  • Clinical observation of whether there is reinfarction or re-enlargement of myocardial infarction
  • To diagnose reinfarction and evaluate the prognosis of ACS (Acute coronary syndrome)
  • Help to judge the time of myocardial injury and diagnose early reinfarction
  • May be used as a follow-up test to an elevated creatine kinase in order to determine whether the increase is due to heart damage or skeletal muscle damage
  • When there is no condition to detect cTnl, CK-MB or CK can be detected
